Here you will find Italian specialty foods, great cold cuts, meats, cheeses, pastas, bread or a quick produce fix. The catering service is professional at highest rate. Everything that comes out of the store is excellent quality. The Italian heroes I’ve ordered here are plainly good, as you can see in the pictures below. The semolina hero bread taste great especially with some sweet and hot fillings, not to mention the juices that it soaks up so well. And the brick oven bread heated up is great for a turkey sandwich with mayo. I’m tellin you, I’ve been eating their cold cuts and heroes since I was 12.

They don’t hire punk kids at their deli. Everyone is a professional that knows what they are talking about and are helpful. The weekend-only homemade roast beef is tender with a great salt and pepper crust. Also on weekends only is their ham – I don’t even like ham, but I love this juicy sweetness. These have been a weekend staple in my Wantagh home since we discovered them.

What’s best of all is that they love what they are doing and care about you and the food, it shows.

  1. You should try the Seaford Deli. I used to go to Salpino but I find the Seaford Deli is better all around.

    • yeah right i just discovered salpinos and it blows away seaford deli and there horrible meats and expensive prices. not saying salpinos is cheap but they make one hell of a sandwich

      • I prefer salpino’s too, but always have a place in my heart for the Harbor Deli

        • Seaford Deli has new owners since I last posted. I hear Otto’s is good.

          • very interesting. Where is Otto’s?

  2. It is on Park Ave. in Wantagh between Oakland Ave. and 135. It is on the south side of the street.
